Our Crosskeys Campus Hair and Beauty department recently hosted some special guests from BBC X Ray. With industry-standard facilities and expert tutors in the make-up and beauty sector, Ůӟó was the ideal place to film an episode all about the growing issue of counterfeit make-up. 

With the high-profile UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) coming up, our learners were given the unique opportunity to speak to local Senedd Members to express their thoughts on climate change and discuss the topics they’d like the conference address. 

Investing in state-of-the-art equipment is an important part of helping our learners keep up with the latest changes and innovations in the sector. So, our Construction and Civil Engineering department at the City of Newport Campus has had an exciting delivery of brand-new surveying equipment from KOREC.

This year, 29 inspirational ŮÓŸó learners have made it through to the finals of WorldSkills UK, competing against learners from colleges across the country this November. 

We haven't yet had the chance to properly celebrate the fantastic new facilities on offer to learners in Cwmbran. So, last week, we held an official opening celebration attended by VIPs and special guests from Welsh Government.

Today is ‘Wear Red Day’ and we’re doing exactly that to demonstrate our support in showing racism the red card. At ŮÓŸó, we’re committed to making a stand and doing our bit to drive positive and impactful change, in line with Welsh Government’s vision of an anti-racist Wales.
